Hello world!

Yeah – I decided to keep the WordPress title of ‘Hello world!’ for the first post. Why not? I mean, it is kind of a great title for a first post.

Deciding what the ‘first post’ should be is one of the hardest things – so instead of fretting over it for days on end – I just decided to write a few reasons why we are doing this.

First, my husband and I found that our friends and family are constantly asking us advice about this or how we did that. We are a pretty resourceful couple that not only loves figuring out how to do something – but we love to help other people and share things with them that have helped us.

So – to kick start this blog – I’ll give you a little taste of what’s to come….

Survival Stuff:

From how to install a safe into your house to make it look built in… to how to narrow down what survival items are must haves and not needed… how to survive in the wilderness with little to no resources… to what you should carry in a first aid kit for every scenario, we’ve got you covered!

@ More Stuff:

From how to bake a wedding cake (yup, I dared to try it)… to what you need to have to survive pregnancy… to hacks for traveling to Disney World… to home decoration on the cheap without being a carpenter… to semi-homemade baking tips, we will cover it all.

As the posts about these things are made – we hope you will give us feedback, tell us what you want more of, and will elaborate on things as you like.
