Surviving Disney World

Surviving Disney

Well, we’re about 30 days out… We’ve done this dance before… It’s time to get ready to go to Disney! And to be perfectly honest I’m not feeling any stress at all, even though this will be our first visit with our new daughter.

I guess I should give you my quick Disney Resume. I’ve been to Walt Disney World well over 50 Times, Jenna (wife) not as much but she is learning fast. I’ve stayed at hotels and eaten in restaurants both on site and off, rented cars/ taken the busses, had annual passes and done it a la carte, flown down/ driven, and hit just about every tourist attraction in Orlando (Sorry Splendid China RIP). Do I consider myself a WDW expert? Yes, absolutely! Do I know what the bricks are made out of in Fantasyland? No, that’s silly. But, I do know the best dates and times to go, I haven’t needed a map since I was 10 and I definitely know how to to get the most for your money. When I talk with friends and family this always seems to be the number #1 concern. And that gets us to the point of this page, I want to share that experience with you. The first few posts about Surviving Disney  will document how we prep for, travel to, and enjoy ourselves at Disney.

If you have comments, or specific Disney questions, add them below. (Trolls are not welcome, that is not what this page is all about) We will do our best to answer them or incorporate them in a future post.

Below are a few of my favorite Disney books and albums.
